I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the past 14 incredible years. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working closely with neurodiverse children and their families, providing individualized support and guidance as they navigate communication, feeding, and developmental challenges. I firmly believe that every child has a voice if you watch closely enough and take the time to truly listen.
Motherhood has been the greatest gift and one of my greatest teachers. Becoming a mom to my daughter deepened my appreciation for the hopes, worries, and celebrations that come with raising a child. More recently, welcoming my son, who has Down syndrome, has transformed both my personal and professional journey in ways I never could have imagined. Walking alongside him has given me firsthand experience navigating therapies, medical appointments, early intervention services, and the unique joys and challenges that come with raising a child with additional support needs.
One of the most meaningful parts of that journey has been learning alongside my son as he developed feeding skills. Experiencing feeding challenges not only as a therapist but also as a parent has deepened my understanding of how complex, emotional, and rewarding the feeding journey can be. It has strengthened my commitment to evidence-based, family-centered feeding therapy that honors each child's individual pace while empowering caregivers with practical strategies they can confidently use at home.
Every day, I wake up excited to work alongside my clients and their families. Helping children build communication, feeding, and functional life skills is a privilege I never take for granted. If you are looking for personalized speech, language, or feeding therapy for your child, I would be honored to be part of your family's journey. Together, we'll celebrate every milestone—big and small—and help your child bloom into their fullest potential.
